Step 2.To a solution of 1 (97.0 mg, 0.57 mmol) in DMF (4 mL) was added NaH (13.9 mg, 0.58 mmol) at 0¡ãC. The mixture was stirred at 0¡ãC for 30 minutes. The resulting mixture was poured into ice water (w/w = 1/1, 20 mL) and stirred for 10 minutes. The aqueous phase was extracted with EtOAc (30 mL) and the combined organic phase was washed with brine (20 mL), dried with anhydrous Na2S04, filtered, and concentrated in vacuo to afford 3 (120 mg, 72percent).
