Aminative cyclization of 4 yielded isothiazolopyrimidine 13. Reaction of 4 and ethyl bromoacetate or phenacyl bromides afforded thienopyrimidines 15a-b respectively. Oxidation of 4 yielded oxopyrimidine 16.
