A convergent and scalable synthetic route to a tetracyclic oligostilbenoid natural product, diptoindonesin G, is described where Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling and intramolecular Friedel-Crafts acylation were employed to construct the central C ring of diptoindonesin G.
