An efficient, metal-free, NBS-mediated thiocyanation protocol has been developed for the synthesis of (6-(hydroxyimino)-2-thiocyanatocyclohex-1-en-1-yl)(phenyl)methanone derivatives from cyclohexene-fused isoxazoline N-oxides under mild conditions.
